Install the itchio client. It works just like Steam and allows apps to run through it. Best way to get things to run on the Mac that are from itchio. I back another terrain editing tool on itchio (not AC related) and it's the only way it'll run is through the client.
I started doing some island planning in Blender, but it was a bit too cumbersome to make changes on the fly. This is frankly exactly the kind of thing I need!
Something that might be really helpful is being able to toggle real environment textures and one that shades the different cliff tiers like the map does in ACNH. This would help immensely in being able to tell what's when in the overhead view.
Oh, I didn't notice that in the controls. Thanks for the heads up! It'd be nice if it corresponded to the colors used on the in-game map. With the third tiers being blue, it kinda evokes water more than ground.
Please also add a way to fully zoom out, if that works. So you could see the island as a whole. Also perhaps a way to add the rivermouths, but that part isnt as needed <3 <3

Tailors is 5x3. In planner right now the building is 5x2.

the building itself takes up 5x2 (measured it in-game) so the tailor is the correct size in the planner
im on macOS and do I need to download something else like unity to run it? it shows application "IslandPlannerMac" can't be open

nook's cranny doesn't seem to be sized correctly? in my game it's 7 grid spaces wide but it's 6 grid spaces wide in the planner
